Every timber block is individually inspected and cut by hand to remove imperfections before manufacture.
To ensure that movement from climate changes is minimised in their final home, real wood timbers are fully cured and kiln dried to 8-10% moisture content. This reduces the risk of gapping between timber blocks and helps prevent bowing or twisting in the final product.
